Total duration of the project: 4 Months (1September 2019 – 31 December 2019)
Target/beneficiaries- Direct: 300 (MHH =150, FHH= 150) HHs or 1,500(765=F) house hold members with DCT and CFW; Core breed owners: 1,274 (MHH=1148, FHH= 126)HHs with Vet drug supported through 3 vet clinics and Indirect: 9,084 (F=4,633) population of 4 intervention kebeles
Project background
Project goal- To contribute to reduction of drought caused Human and Animal suffering and assist them to recovery from hunger & draught in selected kebeles of Bena Tsemay woreda, South Omo zone, SNNPR.
Project objectives
Selected 300 Female Headed Households, vulnerable community members, PWD, PWHIV, elders (Comprising 1500 family members) are able to meet their basic food and other immediate requirements.
3000 core breeding stocks owned by targeted beneficiaries able to access basic veterinary service
