WE-Action Dimeka field office supported annual tree planting ; green legacy, through SHE-GET II project
Over 400 seedling; coffee, moringa,avocado and other types of trees are planted at Ariya Umbule and Ariya kayisa sites. Most of the seedlings are that which important for food/edibles, thereby the project is highly contributing to ensure diversified diet and livelihood security/food security. Community members, women and men SHGs, government stakeholders and DFO staff participated in the campaign.

WE-Action, Jinka field office has organized annual tree planting campaign through GEM project
project with coordination of ari zone agriculture departments expertise. Around 330 seedling; avocado, gravila and Pine trees planted at Ayda and Shepi kebele on September 14 & 16. WSHG & MSHG members, each kebele administration,woreda & zone representatives, community representatives and staff members have participated on the campaign.
