Case story about w/ro Sendaye Tefera on emergency response

W/ro   Sendaye Tefera @Waghimra zone, Sekota woreda woleh kebele@ Tirki IDP site

w/ro/ Sendaye Tefera was living in waghimra zone Tsagibjie woreda. She is 36 years old married, used to live happy with 6 children. Before she was displaced due to the armed conflict she was living in a convenient home. Before the armed conflict she started as mixed farm and she gets her income by selling her own live stocks and crops. The crisis of her little children and the armed conflict enforced her to flee to “Tirki” IDP hosting site which is found in waghimra zone Sekota woreda around Woleh kebele seeking a refuge for her and her scared children.

W/ro  Sendaye as a newly IDP found a shelter that lacks the minimum life needs, where they had only a pan to cook in; whereas there were no mattress and blankets to cover them in winter season only cartons could cover their chilly bodies. 

However, WE-Action HFHC Sekota filed office provided humanitarian fund and has distributed non- food items (NFIs) to w/ro Sendaye Tefera   and her family’s mattress and blanket.  After she take these non-food items, she Saied I am glad and grateful because now I have blankets and mattress that are very important to me and my family to cover our chilly body, and due to this support, my children are starting to sleep in a safe way.
