Project background

  • Debub Ari Zone recurrently hit by drought due to shortage of rainfall. The occurrence of drought resulted death of livestock which is the main base of livelihood of the pastoralist community.

Project objectives

  • GBV survivors have increased access to lifesaving, age-appropriate services including health,psychosocial support (PSS) and protection.
  • Affected communities have access to safe and accessible reporting channels for SEA.
  • Effective and efficient programme management.

  • Project agreement was signed between donor and government stakeholders
  • The project is launched in collaboration with stakeholders
  • 31 Key stakeholders and project staffs have been trained on GBV case management and psychosocial first-aid
