Project background

  • The project focuses on strengthening local circuit of comprehensive care for survivors of SGBV and sexual violence (SV), improve the hygiene and nutrition living conditions of the target community, improve food security recovery and nutrition among returnee women and forcibly displaced population in North Wollo and Waghimra  enhance the awareness of the rights holders, obligations and responsibilities.

Project objectives

  • Contribute to their institution of the violated rights of the population affected by the Tigray conflict in the areas of North Wollo and Waghimra, Amhara Region, Ethiopia.

Project basic Achievements

  • Improved awareness And community mobilization on deep rooted social norms particularly SGBV Ensured organizational accountability and transparency by establishing compliance committee and target community engagement Improved the livelihood of FHHS returnees Promoted psychosocial and legal services for SGVB survivors.
