On May 22, 2026, WE Action organized and facilitated a project familiarization workshop at Hossana AG Hotel to officially launch two initiatives:
- “Strengthening Civil Society Organisations for the Respect of Children’s Rights” funded by Save the Children.
- “Gender Transformative Approach of CGIAR Gender Accelerator AoW 3: Youth Empowerment Pathways and Gendered Transitions” funded by ICARDA, to be implemented in Doyo Gena (Serara Bokatha and Lemi Situcho districts).
The launching workshop was attended by the Central Ethiopia Regional State Vice-President Social Cluster Coordinator & Education Bureau Head, Finance bureaus, heads of the Women and Social Affairs Offices at regional, zonal, and woreda levels, as well as representatives from the South Radio and Television Agency, Hossana Branch.
